He has the 12V Negative (Black Jumper) connected directly to the Battery Terminal which is the WRONG place to connect it.

The way he has it connected you can expect to get "Deep Sleep" problems.

The proper place to connect the 12V Negative (Black Jumper) is on the Bus Bar near the Battery Negative Terminal. That way the Hybrid's BMS system can know and measure the drain when in use and properly charge the 12 Volt Battery when necessary.

Pretty slick. I use the same little cubby on the driver's side for my travel cigar humidor. I did put a couple of stick on Pads to keep it from rattling around but a great use of space.

I would opt for one that is a pure sine wave inverter. Amazon has them as low as $50 with an LCD display of power in and out. For example, this one has both usb a and usb c ports as well as the lcd display
