Not as much as I‘d like to. Only little upgrades here are there since the install. Major projects coming up include ACC upgrade, camper roof rack build, truck roof rack build, and lower sleeping platform build. Oh and need to install my light bar and DD fogs (will be using your DD ambassador code “Darwin” soon).

Yes please use the code "DARWIN". I'm excited for you. I will be putting the pair of Diode Dynamics pods kits they sent me on my Mav too. To replace the current set up I have on. It's going to look so slick!

How are you building your sleeping platform in your bed. Maybe I can help. I do a lot of wood working. I'm not best, I've done a van-life rig before. Let me know!

You did mention something about the ACC, roof rack, and a camper roof rack (?) are you adding snowboard or kayak rack mount... perhaps a place to mount some solar panels?

Lots to do before heading cross-country. The biggest thing I’m scared of is the post-recall shutdown issues with the hybrids. Waiting for a solid fix for that before I head out.

Yes, better to take care of all that prior your planned adventures. Hopefully they can figure something out to give you the confidence to drive safely. Especially prolonged trips.

April is super busy for me. Camping in the rig for the first time this weekend. Expecting the project list to grow after the weekend . Next weekend I’ll be in Texas so doesn’t sound like I can make it to Rodeo & Rigs. Hope you have a blast! Send pics!


Oh man, that's too bad, too sad. But hopefully you can make one of the Overland Expos. I will be taking pics and catch some good B-rolls to compile for Pack Out Campers at the event next week. It's going to be lit!
