Had an opportunity to attend my very 1st Overland Expo West in my whole entire life. It was so much fun! Found the only Ford Mav that was built with all the bells and whistles within a week! Sitting on a 2" Ford Ranger lift kit with fully fabricated Go Fast Campers. Quite stunning I must add!

Meanwhile, here's mine with its first 945 miles on the clock. I didn't even expect to pick one up at my local Ford dealership here in Sin City. I didn't mind the mark up price when I decided to change my mind when someone had canceled their order. I was just hoping to get the XLT Hybrid on order or waiting list. But love every bit of it that 2.0T EB!

There have been some positives that have come out of Covid. People not having to drive to work, less air pollution, less noise pollution, people not wasting two or three hours a day commuting, more time with wife and children. I hike a lot and the past two years, I have seen a BIG increase in folks being outdoors. Families hiking and bicycling together, folks on horseback, fishing, etc. I have seen more Dads ( and some Moms) fishing with their kids in the last two years than I have in the last 15. I NEVER used to see Moms fishing with their kids or Dads taking their little girls to fish. Great to see kids away from the idiot box and video games. Enjoy your new camper and Maverick !View attachment 53118

It sure is and that was my initial goal! The batwing only takes seconds to set up. Unzip, unstrap and unravel! Free standing and can withstand high wind.Looks like a functional setup. How long does it take to set up, break down the awning?
Thank you kindly! I'm definitely loving the simplicity as well as the functionality of my tiny rig.Very Impressive. Looks great !
You know what... that was the very first thing I've noticed when I first walked up to this Maverick. But They have two on both sides.Your awning is way nicer than theirs!! I have a similar TuffStuff Tent sitting atop a tree platform right now. Also have an annex for it that my wife loves. One day I plan on building a wing type awning aswell. We just go beach camping mostly here. And havent been for a couple years with cancer treatments, but hope to more in the future.
