After talking to Ford customer service today, I called my dealer and said let's drop the hitch since it is a constrained item. He confirmed that his Manager dropped the hitch from my order this afternoon. I had already changed from hybrid to ecoboost, so now my order has no constraints. Now, let's see if I can get scheduled soon. I had been told a week or so ago that my order could not be changed.

Good luck unfortunately did not help my order however the XL/Hybrid possible having as much impact.

in your case, its the trim, not the hitch

fleet mavs eat up a lot of XL allocation, so in reality less than 15% of retail orders are going to be XL

Yes unfortunately cannot do much apart from change the Trim and the Dealer suggested I did not make the change. I have a first day order with a Priority 10 and dealer has allocations.

Make sure you're a priority 10. Dealer can assign anything from 10-99.
Dealer already changed me to a priority 10.

I've already changed to ecoboost and dropped the hitch. I will not change to XLT and pay an extra $2200 for options I don't want.
