Drove my Lariat for the first time after dark yesterday. Glare from the dash panel and center display in the driver's side window was so bad that I couldn't see the side view mirror. Has anyone else experienced this and what's the solution? As always, thanks in advance for your input.

Polarized sunglasses or a dash mat (or both) are the only practical solutions I can think of.

Uhh it’s after dark and a reflection of the lights.
OP, how far back is your seat?

When we would haul overnight in the tractor trailers, what we would do is tape a little strip of cardboard to the instrument shroud. When we had our sterling tractors, there was a carpeted dash pad you could pull out about an inch to help with it.

Personally I haven't noticed glare to be an issue. Apparently there is a window tint that you can have done at tint shops that helps to reduce the glare, made my 3m:

Now I have no clue if it actually works but It might be worth talking to a tint guy about.

I noticed it the first time I drove at night. I turned down the brightness. It's still there, but not as distracting. Ford engineers have had me scratching my head since I got a 2014 F-150, and now I am down to just a few tufts of hair! They do some things great, then something simple they just screw up.

I’ve had similar issues with my Maverick, my Subaru, my Jeep, my Fiat and my F-150

i installed dash covers, tinted the front side windows and lowered the lighting on my HMI screens the issues disappeared so I don’t think this is a Maverick only issue - Good Luck👍

And it should be in auto/dark mode if it isn't already.
