Screen2Auto is required to mirror phone to Mav screen in Android Auto. It can be quite difficult to get working, depending on phone brand, as Google likes to continually block third party apps from working. Ironically, it works on my Pixel 6 pro.

Unfortunately after switching from a Pixel 4a to a Pixel 7 Pro the new phone constantly complained about the access rights that S2A required.

First post as a regular internet user, informed others my informal withdrawal of support for security of the internet. My lowest level security certificate has been made inactive. So can’t help anymore even if I changed my mind.
Way too much of my free time was taken helping others over the past few decades. Only to be muzzled by a temp mod. Good luck if this is your first job in a path to a career. There is just too much to protect, too little resources, if I was focusing on a security issue, it became the focus of others as a result. The reverse is also true. Can’t be helped nobody will help. Got to go pay some bills. I have no idea if this post will work. Everything shows as invalid security and possibly spoofed websites on my end.

There's got to be a screen mirroring app for the Apple platform too.

Not unless your iphone is jailbroken, as far as I know. I have 2 iphones(2016 SE and 13 Mini) both jailbroken, and not currently activated.

Carbridge(or carplayenable on the SE) can mirror the screen or display 3rd party apps, but I tried two different OBD2 readers and three or four different iphone apps and could never get them to work right or at all with the Maverick.

I'm guessing you're talking about play protect service in the Play store giving you a warning about the app?

I just ended up turning off the play protect service, and clearing the data for the Play store and it doesn't do that anymore.

Thanks to those who fixed things, on my end. Transitioned fine. Got contacted personally, that method used will be kept, but all others have personal expenses and will be dropped soon.

back to the topic, information about our Mavericks and why we want it displayed.
It benefits us by adjusting driving behavior and that if used/ useful to us its useful to share.

Torque Pro Android app works well with a cheap Bluetooth OBD2 adapter.

No. Make sure both connections are checked on the status screen, if not try exiting and opening the app back up.
If that doesn't work your OBD2 reader may not be compatible. What kind do you have?

It appears to read a lot of the OBD2 info, but I think I will go ahead and order the module you have as well and test again.
