So, are you guys telling me that if the LiPo battery cooling system springs leak in a Mavbrid the LiPo drive battery overheats ?

How far away from your house do you guys have to park to kept your family safe?

You’ve got to be kidding right ?
Nah man, I drain the fluid all the time and let it heat up, it's perfect for cooking burgers while boondocking. :p

The entire liquid cooled thing is more recent in hybrids, my previous hybrid had an air cooling system. That was far less hassle, and didn't need a bunch of extra stuff on the vehicle. Why they went away from that, besides allowing for heating during winter, is beyond me.

I hear ya. I’ve said it before, I think these new vehicles, all makes are needlessly over complicated.
Water cooled looked more efficient and likely showed it’s better for the battery during R&D.
Temp stability with water is likely greater.
But still,

My FORD dealer refilled both cooling systems on my hybrid with green coolant. It's not yellow.
That could be a problem or undesired - as the 25MY is the same coolant spec'd.

Is it a problem? Depends if that was Ford green

Glancing at the chart you get a quick sense regarding the Ford green - if that's what it was.

25MY spec.
