Yes, my husband recently went and saw one, sat in it, learned about it and when he told me all about his experience he didn’t even mention the blue. Finally I asked, “did it look really blue?” He looked confused at first and then said, “OH! Not at all! Looks more gray than anything to me, it didn’t even stand out.” So, there ya go. He did hate the black carpet in there though, saying it clashed. Haha

No choice of interior is also how they are keeping down costs.

In one of Kia's cheapest vehicles, the Soul, they have a really comfortable combo of cloth and pleather. The cloth is used in the middle and breathes well and is a bit stretch so really conforms and doesn't slide around, but then the edges that are high wear they have in pleather which should be very durable. And black may be boring but it matches everything.

And then you look at the Ford Maverick interior, and it is too colorful and looks dated by comparison IMO:

I getting floor liners. The carpet wears out too fast and is harder to clean.

I'm disappointed that, for the leather interior, Desert Brown is the only option. I like leather because it's easier to keep clean but the brown is just ugly IMO.

It is not real leather.

Ok. I think most low price and midprice vehicles don't include different faux leather choices. You buy it, or you don't. Everybody isn't going to love everything.

Honestly, I hated it at first but now I've embraced the quirkiness of the Maverick. It's not for everyone, but it's different, and I love it.

Yes, and I've reopened old threads myself from searching and seeing someone asked the same question previously but never got an answer.

This just seemed like they didn't realize it was one from 18 months ago
