It's time for me to finally get one.

I think my best options are between:

Diamondback Switchback($1599)
Diamondback SE ($2099)
Diamondback 270($2599)

I am open to your opinions, because spending $2700 (plus tax) is not cheap. But I think the switchback is the most reasonable option.

Why a diamond back? @chrisofpa has a diamondback. Maybe DM him for input.
I went with the Diamondback SE, I really like it but I was never able to get it as water tight as I hoped but I still have two areas I am going to put some sealing tape which I feel will get it to 90% of where I wanted it to be. Even now its dry enough that I can put sensitive cargo in it without worrying it will get destroyed by water, the ribbing in the bed guides the water away from what's on top of it.

Primary reason I went with it is Security and I was willing to pay $2000 for it, as I could often have upwards of $10,000 worth of firearms, ammo and accessories in the bed. I have also used the top of the cover to sit on with my back against the rear glass of the Maverick when I had to oversee outdoor jobs at work or I was waiting on people and wanted to enjoy the weather.

I really considered the Diamondback 270 but opted against it as the install seemed too involved for my comfort, I believe drilling had to be done and while I could have done that, I didn't feel comfortable with it.

I also liked the added benefit of the cover being manufactured in my home state of Pennsylvania, I try my best to buy domestic where possible.

I went with the DiamondBack SE and mounted T-slot rails on it to mount cross bars used for carrying bikes or a hard sided cargo box.
