Ok, I have it mostly installed, still need some adjustments on the locking clamps, but I need a helper for that. Install wasn’t too bad, but hard in the small maverick bed.

note that I was able to spread the clamps a little further out than shown in the picture

Did you order the anchor cleats pre-installed or loose? Not sure what they mean by that and how it would affect installation.

I ordered them pre-installed. You pretty much would only want them not installed if you didn't plan on using them or just wanted them installed somewhere else.

and yes, my gas door was open, I bumped into it climbing in and out of the bed by standing on the tire.

Shipping and delivery was fast, but be prepared for the big box! Of course my grand daughter made good use out of it!

Nice. Definitely considering the SE but honestly how much of a hassle do you think it is to remove if you need to haul something big or tall?

It depends. If you just want to remove the front or rear panel, that is as simple as lifting up, unclipping the shocks and sliding the panel off the hinge. Or you could live it on the hinge and fold it over 180. If you also decide to remove the middle panel, the you would need a ratchet to unbolt the 4 bedside clips as well, adding maybe 5 or so minutes.

I should also note that the cover is raised, so no height is lost in the bed, so I could still load long items in the bed and leave the gate down if needed. Doesn't help for tall items, but that's when I would open or remove a panel if need be.

However, for my next move, I plan to just load the furniture on top of the cover, so then I can put all the small loose junk and such in the bed.

Since my Maverick is still at the DE port, I was in the area and stopped by Diamondback to pick up my SE smooth black cover and Crossbin 8. I am so pumped for this.

I have the Diamondback on my 2023 F-150, and 100% recommend them. They also give a Veteran's discount for those that qualify. Definitely getting one for the Maverick.

I’ve had my diamondback for idk 4 months or so now. And I love it, really wanted a camper shell to start but the security and price difference was way better with the diamondback. I travel all over the place hunting and fishing so being able to really lock stuff up tight was key. My only complaint is if you drive alot of dirt roads like we have in Texas, you’ll have to weather strip around the tailgate. If not your bed fills with dust pretty bad. Now we begin searching for an overland rack that lets me still open n close the diamondback!
