Depress Clutch Pedal to Start

Went to start my 2023 XLT Tremor Maverick this morning and received a "Depress Clutch Pedal to Start" message. Vehicle wouldn't start. Ultimately, I ended up exiting the truck, locking the doors, unlocking the doors, re-entering, and then it started and everything seemed normal. Older posts on this forum suggest this bug has been around awhile. Just a heads up that Ford hasn't addressed it yet.

So what you're saying is they laid the foundation for a Tremor only manual in the maverick for 2025???!!!!

Well, there is a cutout in the fire wall for a clutch pedal in the Maverick

I got one a few days ago as well. Confused me and I just laughed for a minute as I wish it was a manual. Glad I'm not the only one who got it.

Seems like an expert with Forscan and a laptop could disable that option. Come on Ford .

Hopefully it's a sign that the ST maverick might have a 6 speed tremec in it.
