A) Your OT called. They say to remind you to do your carpel tunnel exercises
B) Android keeps getting better. You can pull out those extra buttons into their own icons/buttons:

My phone works differently than @Ryom says theirs does. My extra buttons open the app and then perform the task without any additional clicks. It does take 15-30 seconds.

I can’t get by a notification saying it’s waiting on a authorized driver.havent been able to go any further.what is i a authorized driver?

An "authorized driver" is someone with the Ford app who the owner of the truck (the one who initially paired the app with the truck) has authorized to operate the truck. They can then start the truck and drive it without a fob-key.

Whoa! Thanks @not null, I just learned something new! Didn't know this

This must be a new devices only feature, I have a Pixel 6 Pro which is about 4 years old and I'm running the latest Android 16 but I don't get those options with a long press on the widget.

Ahh, I didn't notice it was just the icon and not the widget in the other screenshot. Looks a little different on my screen (probably because I'm using a custom launcher) but those three options are there now. Thanks!

Is it just me, or is the widget for the updated Ford app on Android really useless?

I see iPhone users' widget allows them to lock, unlock & start the truck. On Android all is shows is that the truck is parked, the fuel level and estimated range.

Am I doing it wrong? I know I can click the widget and go to the app ... but usually the widget itself has some useful function

It will start but it will not let you shift into drive.

I tried it, a few months ago. I left the fob in the house as a test. I unlocked & started the Maverick with the Ford app. I got in and tried to put it into drive. No go! I then used the app to shut off the Maverick. After everything was off, I opened the door & the horn alarm started beeping. I had to shut it off with the Ford app.

Some Ford vehicles let you use your phone as a key FOB. Maverick is not one of those vehicles. Also the Ford app will not work without cell phone reception. It doesn't use Bluetooth to unlock/remote start.
