Sadly, there are people who ordered a week or two after me who have already received their Maverick but as far as I could tell they were XL eco with no options. Sounds like you might have ordered from a smaller dealer?
that "LUX" package is something worth waiting for,As you know "Chip" are required for them (Heated-seats and heated steer/wheel and heated outside mirrors and defrosted windshield wipers and so on and so on.the copilot is really the only hold up option on his and that why he has his,but you have waited this long just hang in there its comming.

Only in Bizzaro World! Ford clearly stated Production and Delivery would "start in Fall 2021". Nobody with 2 brain cells to rub together should expect they would get their truck during June, July, August, or even be in the 1st limited production runs as the factory ramps up- despite what some clueless or unethical salesperson may have told them. Some of the Amazon Prime brainwashed buyers with the "I want it NOW!" expectations are using this place like their own personal crying room and all the bellyaching is getting real old. If you can't wait- then don't- and move along to your other options.

BTW: do you know what the average time to get a new built cookie-cutter home is after you sign your Contract? 6 months. If it's a custom built home expect to wait 9-12 months after you buy. Car buying with transition to the new special order system is no worse.

So people that paid for a tesla in 2017 that's not in production yet won't be waiting until it goes into production. People are waiting from the time they decided to place an order til the time they pick it up

Ford never said it was FIFO. The scrambling on production is very much impacted by parts available and what options you chose + hosed global supply chains coming off that stupid pandemic. Also, Ford said they only "recently" switched to processing oldest orders 1st- but it wasn't always the case.
And I understand that, parts and supply yatta yatta. BUT! How does someone I work with order the literal same exact truck, only difference being his is white and mine is gray AND he got CP360 (I did not), ordered his in December, but I ordered June. I'm not whining by any means, but they stated recently that they we're doing older orders...where's the e-mail? Lol

I hear you. I stopped trying to make sense of that months ago. Ford surely has some good reasons for the disparity ;) Did you guys happen to order from the same dealer? That seems to make a difference in some of these cases.

Yes, I've seen that. I wonder how many from that far back have received theirs.
Haven't received yet, but ordered 7/26/21 & just two weeks ago received my VIN & build date of week of May 9th. If no changes, should receive middle of June. Lariat Hybrid, Rapid Red, First Edition, Lux Pkg & CoPilot 360.

Just because it's a ecoboost doesn't necessarily mean a faster build there are many Sept and Oct orders still not scheduled many like mine have no constraints.
Ordered eco on 11/17/21 and never had a constraint and still no word from Ford at all. Apparently, my dealer, which was the largest dealer in the country a year or so ago, had hundreds of Maverick orders and was seeing only 9 coming in a month. At that rate, I'd be 2025 before my order gets filled. If you ordered a lariet with lux package you have a much better chance of having your order filled sooner since they are disporportionatly filling high margin trucks before lower margin trucks. So the higher the sticker price, you sooner you get the truck.

What dealer did you order from, I feel like I’m in the same boat, large dealer with hundreds of orders before mine, don’t see how it’s possible to get in a few years.

Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, MI. I think they have multiple dealerships located in Michigan so maybe each location gets a handful of Maverick's per month. I've been going to the bill Brown website and seeing how many Maverick's they show in inventory and lots of time it's zero, and sometimes it's 1 or 2. From the sound of it, all dealerships list customer orders so they can't be getting in 9 a month any longer.

When I ordered mine I was told there was over 400 orders ahead of me, I don’t know how many they get a month, I doubt it’s more then 20 or 30, at that rate it will take 2 years to get it, crazy.
