Delay after starting build...

Anyone in a similar situation? Or have information for me?
My truck (2024 Lariat) was scheduled for the week of 11/20, delayed to 11/27.
The pizza tracker switched to In progress on 11/30, the modules populated the same day, and then I received this email below yesterday.
The dealer tells me he can only see that my truck is still at the factory. Any insight is apprecaited!

Yes build week 11/13 orders have been stuck in production for several weeks.

Missing something for the truck build they thought would be there by now. It's not, so you're waiting and it's probably some external trim piece or otherwise stupid holding everything up.

Build in progress/in production on the tracker can mean the order to build was sent to the factory up to 10 days before the actual build starts. During build they may have problems with a part and finish the build but park it until they have the part available or problem fixed. A year or two ago car manufacturers built cars but parked many of them until parts came in. As most dealers will tell you don't trust any date until the shipped date appears (but I've even seen some systems say it was delivered to dealer but was actually still sitting at the factory - Stellantis).

It sounds like that this may be the case. They have built a bunch of Maverick's and they have been parked up while they wait for the missing parts to come in.

If they were completely built then the Ford tracker or Ford CS would be able to see the built status and it would be awaiting shipping.

Got the same letter and have the same build. Call Ford Marking and they can actually see more than the sales manager. My Sales manger told me nothing and the marking department and they explained. Told me there were paint issue but the ETA was still the same for me. So Fingers crossed.

i was scheduled for the week of 11/20 for my 2024 XLT hybrid. Then I got the delay email on 11/30.

I checked with Ford chat when I got this and got this info from them.

I appreciate your patience! Your 2024 Maverick is in production with a secondary status of returned from body company. The vehicle has been returned from the body company (upfitter) and we are working hard to get it delivered! I see the vehicle's location as Ford Hermosillo Assembly, SO. The estimated time of arrival ranges from 12/18/23-12/24/23. Please kindly note that these dates are an estimate and are subject to change. You are optimistic. My truck was ordered on 9/15/22, built 8/22/23 and shipped the next day, 8/23/23. It sat in the terminating rail yard for 3 weeks and didn't arrive at the dealer until 10/2/23. I hope your delay isn't as long.

Can confirm, tracker is broken. Chat said vehicle is built and on its way but tracker says in production still.

Chat or phone call to get the most accurate information.

Did they specifically say it was shipped, or just that it was built and had an ETA to the dealer?
My dealer ETA has already come and gone and it's still just been built and waiting to ship.

I got the same email. Mine was originally scheduled Nov 24, then moved to 27, and still there. My email was identical.

Mine started production 11/28 and chat told me the estimated build is now 1/16.
Probably another month or two after that to reach my dealer in the Toronto area.
