Dear @BreadPitt86,

Please be advised that this office represents said deer and his family for injuries you inflicted upon him.

In addition to debilitating back pain from ruptured disks, he as severe psychological injuries and cannot show his face in public due to humiliation from his broken antlers.

I am extending an offer, expiring two weeks from this letter, to settle for the sum of $876,543. Failure to pay this amount in said period will result in immediate and expensive litigation.

Sincerely,
@dochawk, esq.

Looks like an open and shut case

I was extremely lucky yesterday, a deer hit driver side, folded the mirror in and knocked mirror out of the holder. I was able to snap mirror back into its slot, controls still work, no other visible damage. Truck has 1900 miles and when it happened, I said a few really bad words.

Deer are just overgrown rats! Here in W PA deer hits are constant. PA needs to extend the deer hunting season as the population is getting out of hand. AT least when a hunter takes one, people get fed. If a car hits one, no one gets fed.

Correction: TASTY overgrown rats!
True. Love venison. Especially with the price of beef it's a great alternative. Just wish PA had a longer deer hunting season. There really are too many deer in this state which is why we are #1 or #2 in car deer collisions.

Love venison.
Dating, my now wife told me that if I ever took up hunting (which had never even occurred to me!), she'd cook anything I brought home--"except Bambi"!

But then the boyfriend of a gal she worked with got one, and she passed meat around--and my wife cooed it!

And in grad school, as I was pretty much the only one with a big freezer, a friend whose family filled their tags early traded venison for freezer space. After cooking one, she switched to, "Tell skip that I'll babysit for deer meat."!

yes, tasty.

from what i here they need to make deer season a little earlier in PA,from what i hear(told by ex PA hunters) when they get around to having deer season its too cold for many hunters, unlike here its the most beautiful weather of the year, morning frost and freezes warming up to the mid sixties bt lunch and get this, usually dry, here in bucolic Bath Va,we have a deer population explosion, out of staters get here and get you some!

I don't think the auto body repair industry would go for that . . .

You could tell when it was deer season by the vehicles on the road!

If you are unlucky enough to need a body shop around here starting about mid november through mid march you will have a long wait for repairs. PA is in the top 5 states for deer hits, especially western PA. W.VA just to our south is actually number 1. I had been lucky for a lot of years but the odds caught up with me in 2018. In January of 2018 i hit a deer with my 8 month old Jeep Renegade. $4K in damages. In October of 2018 i hit a deer with my Toyota Prius C. $3200 in damages. My son hit a deer in his Sentra (it only had 15K miles on it). Total write off. He now has my Toyota since it happened right before i got my Maverick. I live in a rural area so i see dead deer on the side of the road literally every day around here.

WVa used to have different deer season and rules from ours,Guys that used to come to the local hunting camp would hit that season as well,I think its legal to bag an extra doe here this year( don't take that as gospel,I don't hunt anything now,I know we used to be able to have a garden and fruit trees back in the day( Dad never passed up a juicy deer in his sights)

one thing that boils my blood now is the ridiculous 3.5% write up fee, next time I am going to confront the office and owners about this bullshit, you mean to tell me that the office help doesn't get paid if nothing is written up? so much greed these days, the convenience fee was bad enough ,now this bullshit.I stormed out of a dealership after they quoted me a ridiculous price for a taillight and I seen the "attention 3.5 % write up fee on all transactions, bought it online and saved around $500 no write up fee.
