I just noticed that when I get the FordPass Deep Sleep notification on my phone, the following happens to my 2023 Lariat:
1. Touch the DRIVER'S door handle to unlock, and the courtesy dome lights and bed light do not come on (Old news) but the door WILL unlock by touch.
2. Touch the PASSENGER'S door handle instead, and it will NOT unlock by touch (nothing happens).

I assume if I left the truck in deep sleep for a longer period, maybe the driver's handle touch function would also cease to work? Will the touch pad similarly cease to function after more time in Deep Sleep?

I find it funny as hell that "Deep Sleep" is not mentioned even one time in the entire 2023 Owner's Manual. As much difficulty and lack of understanding surrounding Deep Sleep should certainly warrant some guiding information being provided in the manual.

I can't say I have seen that. Even with the Explorer that had been in deep sleep for two months unlocked the door on the driver's side the moment it is touched.

That said, a low battery is why there is a key in the fob.

I've been dealing with the Deep Sleep/passenger door handle issue as well. Both 1 and 2 are happening to me but FWIW, the passenger handle lock no longer works at any time.

I've tried turning the lock function off/on in the settings, and it doesn't help (although it used to fix the problem). I mentioned it to the dealer at my last service, and I was told they couldn't figure it out either, even after they spoke with their support team and took the interior door panel off to look closer.

I have a recall appointment tomorrow regarding 22B39 (and another one), and I'll update if that fixes it.

Mine consistently behaves like that...the passenger side goes out with the dome under deep sleep. I'm not sure if the passenger door ALWAYS goes off the same level as the lights do. But as soon as the deep sleep is gone (evidenced by the lights coming on), then the passenger door touch functions again.
I'll keep a close eye on that passenger handle's behavior.

My passenger door stopped locking / unlocking by touch several months ago but until today (yay) I'd never had the Deep Sleep notification. I will be having the dealer look at the passenger door stuff when I have it in next but I'm much more dismayed to get the Deep Sleep notification. Guess I should be considered "lucky" that I made it just short of 17 months of ownership before that happened? 🤷

I've had LOTS of deep sleep notifications, but never a failure to start, and the driver's door touch has always (5.5 months) unlocked the truck despite the deep sleep. I'm not driving it far enough on many short trips, I'm guessing.
I wish Ford would produce some documentation as to exactly what behaviors are normal, and which might indicate a problem. Annoying not to know the FACTS about Deep Sleep.

Mine did the same thing for months until I put in a new AGM 12V battery. Everything including the passenger keyless entry returned to normal after adding it!
