Deep Sleep — Context?

After not driving it for 8 days, my Maverick (through FordPass) is telling me repeatedly that it is going into Deep Sleep Mode. It starts and runs fine, with no warnings on the screens.

I‘ve only driven short distances since I started driving it again, so it hasn’t had much charging time, but when sitting with the truck turned on, the engine isn’t kicking on like I would expect, to charge the battery,

I have a voltage reading of 15.0 when idling, and ~ 12.5 when traveling (from the cigarette lighter port). The truck has about 1200 miles on it.

Aside from the battery harness issue, has anyone had this Deep Sleep warning in FordPass? If so, what was the reason for this?

With repeated deep sleep the battery monitor system gets confused. A forced reset clears the current counting function and measures state of charge using voltage.
Nighttime ( for the required 8hour no use needed ) turn on truck but not all the way to start. Press brake 3 times, then high beam 5times the battery icon on dash will flash to show reset event.

Also on a hybrid ( guessing since it seems the only people getting charge related issues ) the main high voltage battery pack can charge the 12v system without needed recharge by running engine. There is around 20 times more energy stored in big battery then the small battery needs to recharge in a deep sleep.
From some details in other posts it seems to be a 200amp max 12v dc-dc inverter so recharge can be at limit of accepting current to charge 12v in short order.
If you are going longer than a week, setting a weekly ‘recharge’ remote start is advisable from the Ford app.

It’s stopped sending the sleep messages now. Probably because I drove it a little more today.
