Deep Sleep happned again

Happened again this Sunday AM, 3rd time. Took to dealer twice and taking it in again this morning. Reminds me of when I was teenage and never knew if my latest junk car was gonna start. Bot a NWISE portable starter kit, good thing.

The dealer claims to have found some loose connections under the hood and tightened same. Who knows.
I have a 2024 Maverick on order, maybe I'll take it and sell/trade this one as I am not sure I want to own a Ford product after the warranty expires...

Have the dealer replace the 12V battery

The dealer wld not replace my battery after 1 year of ownership. I took it in for its first oil change and the battery issue. I’ve had over 20 deep sleep notifications. They said I’m driving it wrong. I have to drive long distances. I contacted ford cust svc and they basically told me to go to another dealership, which is 30 miles away. I cld drive hundreds of miles on one trip and get the deep sleep the following day. If I notice the dome and bed light don’t light up when I open the truck (which is kinda annoying since my workday starts before sunrise) then I put it on the charger. It will be good for abt 2 weeks. I’ll save up for a better battery.

Amazing how they think at the dealerships. I answered one of their opinion surveys and didn't give a 5 for satisfaction, got about 20 phone calls from the dealership asking that I change my opinion...

You are not driving wrong or incorrectly.

I would definitely go to a different dealer and have them replace the 12V battery. That's what I did.

After constant Deep Sleep events on my '22 Hybrid XLT (9k miles), I was close to going out and buying a new battery for $200-$250... but around that time Ford came to my house and performed the last few recalls/software updates... afterwards I recharged the battery with my tender and then performed the battery reset/lock overnight...

That's been well over a month now and not a single deep sleep event... which proves that replacing the battery may not be the best choice/solution for everyone...
