the Cadillac dealer that sponsors many of our club events (and does pretty well selling new Cadillacs in the process ) has what looks like a giant MRI machine and takes a full 3D image, down to individual scratches!

They also can roughly measure toe as the vehicle rolls over them, suggesting if the vehicle needs an alignment.

Called my dealer today to schedule the latest recall fixes. Says they need two to three days to perform the work. What's going on, surely there isn't going to be mechanic on my truck for 24 hours to fix some reprogramming. Is this the new trend with dealers?

Most Ford dealers will have a free loaner car for warranty work Or will come pick up and than deliver it back for you. Yes 3 day is a lot,... I work PT in a Ford service department.

don't count on mobile service - especially if your town has a Quick Lane service center - they don't like to offer both

I originally read this as a brave service tech with tough, but sensitive, toes!
