Dealer Markups Still going on??

I was going to buy a 2023 Prius on Friday In Arizona. They assured me they would sell it to me at MSRP. I was happy as most places in CA were selling at 4 to 8k over msrp.

I called to confirm I would be there, and to verify the price of the car. They said , yes it will be sold at MSRP. The sales person then said they will only add a 8k Enhancement Fee.

My old car is now looking better. No payments.

We love alto blue, it’s a very beautiful color and it enhances the overall look of the truck. I know it’s going to difficult to keep clean but it’s well worth it.

Yes I just took it to the car wash today cuz we have had 2 snowfalls since I got it and it was dirty from the salt... And I just went to a automatic one and let it dry while driving home... I think I'll have to take it to the same place my wife likes to take her car cuz they hand dry it and vacuum and clean the interior windows when it comes out...

I was raised in a family that always used a chamois, so once I get home from the wash, I wet my chamois and wipe the spots off.

Mine is still on the rail car making its way to NY. I do not expect any curve balls from my dealer, but wanted to know what others have experienced. YouTube makes it seem like this is still going on and guys are either stuck paying well over msrp or walking away.
