Please post your dealer experiences in the following order, dealer name, location, feelings on the process (ie good, bad, indifferent) amount paid for the truck vs msrp. A few important details about your buying experience.

Edit: I’m gonna try to compile this information into a spreadsheet and if there are enough respondents I will try to do a best dealership in each state.

I’m sure we know who will win Kansas 😂

Picked up my Carbonized Gray Hybrid Lariat (with Lux package and Co-Pilot 360) today from Hudson Ford in Hudson, Wisconsin. My buying experience was great (shout out to Brandon Reil). Truck was ordered on August 9th and in addition to the Ford e-mails Brandon would check in with me every few weeks until I got a VIN #, then when I received a build date and he would check in more often. MSRP was honored at $31,080. No hassle and purchase was smooth. Those in Western Wisconsin or around the Twin Cities would be satisfied buying through Hudson Ford.

- Long McArthur (https://www.long-mcarthur.com/)
- Salina, Kansas
- The Sales process was very transparent, genuine, and executed with integrity down to the details.
- MSRP for XLT Hybrid + Doc Fees (which were disclosed up front when asked)
- Many of you know Tim Bartz (@fordvideoguy) from this and other sites. His team of sales people appear to be following to a "T", the expectations he laid out in educational and product update videos. The fact that a dealer met all the expectations they laid out is in itself a great thing.
Note: I gave a little more explanation of WHY I chose a dealership in another state in my post: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...-incredible-grab-a-drink-its-a-bit-long.7973/

1. Oroville Ford
2. Oroville, CA
3. Great Process (ordered 9/8, picked up 12/16
4. MSRP (500 down and a handshake, 1.9% for 60, pmt under 200) white XLT w/hitch.
5. No BS. Very Happy. They (not me) found 2 scratches on driver door panel. They ordered it and replaced it 1/10. No BS either.

I think there has been several threads going on forum about owners getting trucks. So here is mine again.

  • The process of ordering was not good. The sales rep was completely clueless to how to process works.
  • 4.5% under invoice + $795 dealer doc fee.
  • My truck was ordered as dealer stock. I had to argue to have it changed to retail. I was never asked for my DL and the dealer didn't enter my email address. I have to call Ford Marketing for updates because there is 0 communication from the dealer. That said, I got a good deal and I like the service department. The dealership is about 2 miles from my house too.

  • Excellent Process from start to finish
  • Paid 3% below invoice (about 6% below MSRP give or take) plus $235 doc/txfr fees - not quite as good as the current $3k deal, but excellent in today's overall sales climate.
  • Response times were reasonable, deposit was a little high but no funny business, hard sells or last-minute changes. Will be a go-to for me (3 hours away); just looked at my list and the Maverick is our 26th vehicle in 20 years (trying to slow this down!). They also sprung an additional $750 loyalty rebate on me the day of the sale that I didn't even know about (Ended up receiving the Ford mailer later the next week)

  • Went in on September 18th to order from my neighbor. Found out he only does new car sales on the lot, and got transferred to their internet sales manager. Brought in the Order Guide with everything I wanted highlighted. He entered the information, but said there was a conflict and he would have to check with the regional rep to finish.
  • On September 28th, out of the blue he emailed me the sales order form to sign. Signed it and emailed it back. Hour later, received an email from Ford saying my order had been confirmed.
  • Week later, a receive a generic email from him thanking me for the order, and I replied by asking to contact me if they get one in so I could look at it and possibly test drive. Never heard from him, but saw their other dealership in Lawrence, KS had one to test drive. Went there and enjoyed it.
  • Called about a month later to see if he had heard anything, and he told me he wouldn't hear anything, that I would receive an email before him. Took that as "don't bother me".
  • Called the Ford number yesterday. The customer support person couldn't tell me too much. Suggested that I call the dealer and ask the following questions:
    • How many allocations does the dealer have?
    • How many have they received?
    • What number am I in their orders?
I only went to my local dealer to help out my neighbor. Unfortunately, he won't get anything out of it. In hindsight, should have walked out and drove west 100 miles to see Tim Bartz...
