I ordered on September 16 and the dealer didn’t sign my purchase order. Is this normal practice with these orders or am I a sucker? I reached out to them for a signed copy

Some members here will tell you that you absolutely need to get it signed by no less than your Sales Person, the Sales Manager, General Manager, and Owner of the dealership notarized by a third-party and a copy Priority Mailed to Jim Farley himself or the dealership is clearly going to just sell it out from under you when it arrives or with $10k markup.

For myself they didn't sign the buyer's order (heck, I didn't even get a DORA) and still got mine for the agreed upon price below MSRP. So what do I know.

Yeah I am in the same situation. They did not sign the dora. Hope to be getting my truck in Nov, 11 month wait. Another poster here has the same dealer as me and price protected their truck. But I think it's common not to have a signed copy. Not much you can do about it now anyway. These greedy dealers ruin it for the good ones.

Basically my sentiment is if you went through some shady dealer that's going to try and pull something they're probably going to do it regardless of what you/they signed and call your bluff of either getting Ford to maybe pressure them or actually litigate (which rarely anyone does despite all of the bluster).

Yeah, I went through one of the biggest ford dealers in my area thinking that would mean they were professional. I guess I just have to wait and see if they are trying to screw me over 🤷🏼‍♂️ If it gets built and they try to mark up the price, I don’t think I will buy it

Most people, especially the majority of buyers which don't visit this forum, didn't get theirs signed.

I didn't and not worried about it.
