Don't worry about it. Early models sometimes have bugs, but that's what the warranty is for. Chances are you won't have any problem. Mine by the way is fantastic and I love it. It will be with me for a long time. These post scare the heck out of me. I get my hybrid tomorrow.
Quite the overreaction. Parts fail, no big deal. "Needs to be held accountable" lol acting like you need to hold a gun to someone's head just because of a parts failure under warranty.Check your state’s lemon laws. Ford needs to be held accountable for this crap. You don’t have to accept a buyback. I got my truck and 5k.
My Mav sat at the dealer for over 2 months.Quite the overreaction. Parts fail, no big deal. "Needs to be held accountable" lol acting like you need to hold a gun to someone's head just because of a parts failure under warranty.
You do realize the difference between warranty repair and lemon law don't you?
Can I ask how far you were able to/how far did you drive after you received that message?Received the wrench of death on July 30th. Bad EV inverter, no ETA for the replacement part. 22 Hybrid less than a year old with 9910 miles.

That part should be bullet-proof. Seems there is just more than one failure reported here. I understand that something inevitably will go wrong but 30 and 60 days is not an acceptable resolution time. The shudder, deep sleep, poor wiring and now converter failures makes me think Maverick owners are also beta testers.Quite the overreaction. Parts fail, no big deal. I love my Maverick. I had a 23 ordered now rolling to a 24 so I will be trading in my 22, but trade in price is falling fast.Don't worry about it. I only drove about a mile. Could have drove it longer it was driving fine. I didn’t realize it would not turn back on after you turn the key off until I read it on the Ford app. I will say using the Ford app for roadside assistance was pretty slick. Can I ask how far you were able to/how far did you drive after you received that message?
I hope you at least received a loner vehicle, I did.My Mav sat at the dealer for over 2 months.
