Doesn't matter to me since I am always late anyway LOL. Love the post above where someone actually did what most men never do - look at the book to see how to turn on auto setting. Man, that sure makes most of us look bad. LOL.

May the rest of the country follow SC's fine example someday. DLST is a silly practice.
DLST should be the standard. Besides many studies showing the benefits of it, I just like to get in 18 holes of golf after work ends at 5PM ;)

Didn't need to change mine.....it did it automatically.
Really? Wonder how that happened. Time didn’t change automatically on our XLT …

But then, I checked this as soon as we got in the truck and started in on Sunday, because I was curious. Maybe we just needed to give it a chance.

Was very easy to change, anyway. Didn’t even need the manual. Unlike other cars we’ve had.

This might help...

Is a bit misleading says time zones. I expected that if you are traveling across time zones. But I can see how this can work for both. See what happens in the fall.

Changed it for the LAST time in S.C.....no more back and forth!!!
I haven't heard that. Sometime ago the SC state legislature voted to stay on Daylight Savings Time, but it's pending broad Federal approval as far as I know. I don't think that has happened. I do stand to be corrected if I am wrong.

i hate to be the one to burst your bubble but that’s not the case (Yet).

Something like 19 states have passed laws to end clock changing, (specifically, to stay on daylight savings time permanently) but they need approval from US Congress to actually implement it. I’m sure they’ll get right on that though….. 😂

The US senate did unanimously pass a bill last year to o dissolve it for all states but it was not brought to a vote in the house. It has been reintroduced this year in the senate. Sunshine protection act 2023

States do have the choice to stay on standard time like Arizona. To stay on DST the feds have to approve. It may happen.

The cesspool of SC has not given up changing the clocks. The idiots in Columbia passed a bill that would change things only if neighboring states did the same..the governor, Hank McMasterbator, hasn't a clue.

Changing the clocks is a minor nuisance for the benefit of longer daylight hours in the summer and reasonable sunrise times in the winter. I've never understood why people bellyache so much about it. Permanent DST would be no picnic in the winter for large swaths of the U.S.

Honestly, who wants to live with 9:00 AM sunrise? Or even 8:00 AM sunrise? Yuck.

Will say the Mav is the second easiest car I everhad to change. Some cars I have had are a real pain.

My infotainment systems changed automatically because it's controlled by my phone. The Maverick internal clock I never changed so it's right again LoL.

AZ quit all that in 68.
Sonora Mexico is like Arizona as well... no daylight savings time. When you live in the desert, in the summer, you really want that sun to set... Interesting to see SC join the party... that's going to be fun stuff for folks that do allot of business in southwestern NC, western SC, and northwestern GA.

I forgot about it myself and accidently blew off two remote morning production meetings on the east coast yesterday... Now I have to start my work day at 5am to match east coast client schedules.

On Sunday after work I changed clothes stopped for lunch, went to an event for a short time & when I got back in my Maverick the clock said 2pm, I thought, that can't be right I wasn't moving that fast, especially since I left work at 1pm, I thought it would change, but didn't have it set for that, it was very easy to change manually. I vote for standard time, no reason the sun has to set at 10pm, I like it dark when I go to bed!
