I originally ordered on September 16, 2022, and my Maverick hybrid was not built, despite ordering within 2 hours of the order banks opening (I later learned this was irrelevant due to the allocation system.) Last summer, I reordered once the order banks opened again. My dealer claims to have allocations, and I've confirmed with Ford marketing that my order has a priority of 3.

In 2022, there were many issues with dealer markups, so I researched dealers in my area and chose one with great reviews and positive feedback from someone on the Maverick Truck Club forum. However, I later found out that this dealer receives few allocations since they mostly sell F150s. When it was time to reorder, I was basically stuck with the same dealer due to the private offer.

I am still interested in the Maverick, but my capacity and desire to buy a new vehicle fluctuates. Do you think I'll hit 600 days? I'm betting yes.

It's almost certain you'll go past 600 days. Production is already fully scheduled through March. That adds +60 minimum. Production to delivery in under 40 days, while not unheard of, is not that common.

If it's any consolation, many others are in your same situation with the allocation system.

I hope it does not, but do not give up hope. Mine was 574 days and was definitely worth it!

574+ days waiting... I don't know if I could hold out that long! I got the notice of the scheduled build @ 229.33 days with the projected delivery @ approx. 345 days (48 days from now) and it has been hard!

<edit> - I am not so obsessed that I have a spreadsheet I am using to tracking it or anything! honestly! :sneaky:

I'm on the same "schedule". I ordered Sept. 22 when the banks opened. Still no truck. I think my dealer is on the bottom of the list. Oh! I forgot. There is no list.

I despise the dealer system. It's like the little fiefdoms of England and Scotland where they're just passed down from generation to generation heavily contributing to politicians on both sides to keep the regulations and laws the way they are. You have to go through a dealer. It's a freaking law why we can't have these vehicles delivered to our driveway is beyond me. It'll change someday but probably not in my lifetime. The best thing a dealer can do for you is to not screw you.
