Hi all,

I want to hardwire a VIOFO A119 Min 2, but I am not sure what the best fuses are to tap with the HK4 kit.
Can anyone please give me what is recommended to use?

Thanks,
OG

Thanks m8!
I can't use that harness as I have a 2022 xl... no power in the rearview mirror :(

I will check out that other link tho... thanks again!
No Mavericks come with power in the rearview mirror from the factory.

The harness taps into the dome light to provide power for aftermarket accessories like dashcams and auto-dimming mirrors.

Really! ... I read "somewhere" that trims above XL had powered mirrors and you could tap into them. I did not know about tapping into the overhead lights. Looks very clean, the only negative is no parking mode.

So many different sources telling me different things.

Can anyone verify they used these?

🟡 Yellow wire (CONSTANT power)

Fuse 21 — 7.5 A
Climate control / E-shifter module
âś” True battery power
âś” Stable, low draw
âś” Proven safe for parking mode

đź”´ Red wire (ACC / ignition-switched)

Fuse 11 — 5 A
Telematics control unit
âś” Ignition-controlled
âś” Clean wake/sleep behavior
âś” No high-load or safety risk

As indicated in the linked thread above, I used a micro-3 fuse in position #1-2 for an ACC (switched) source. Nothing else is run off that position. 3 years now, in 3 different Mavericks, no problem.
