Had all 4 axles on my AWD XLT ecoboost replaced under warranty. First it was the rear two at about 25k miles then the front two at around 55k miles. Still felt a shimmy/vibrations while driving. Decided to let the maverick go as I didn't want to keep dealing with the issue, taking time off of work to go to the dealership, fight them for a loaner, etc. etc.

I have never heard of anyone else having a rear cv axle replaced.

I have heard of a few instances of RDUs being replaced, they were likely unfilled with gear oil from the factory or some other manufacturing defect.

If FORD redesigned the axels at some point, does anyone know when these would have started to be installed at the factory?
