Custom Tailgate Letters Wanted

There are many vendors that sell the letters in either vinyl or the raised 3D letters. I personally like the 3D lettering, and that’s what I installed on my truck. I’m not a fan of vinyl lettering. The lettering on my truck is over two years old and doesn’t show any signs of wear and tear nor any fading. My truck has been through hundreds of car washes. Vinyl will fade out over time and will begin to fade and crack.
As far as the other member here wanting to use reflective blue tape, I’m sorry to tell you, my friend, that it will start to chip away and keep on chipping away until it will look horrible and unreadable. Just a friendly word of advice.

I've been trying to find that black reflective - true reflective, type lettering.

Found this Esty shop that say's they'll do custom cuts also, guessing you could ship material.

I can't find any examples of their multi-colors that say reflective, to confirm we are talking the same thing.
I have some of that tape on my bike, black during day, shiny at night with light. That's what I mean by reflective, and I don't think it was even the 3M version shown above, which I know works good too. I'll see if I can get a brand on it tonight.
I know I put on my bike wheel rims white front, red rear reflective tape strips - that work well.
Since it's 1/2" wide, was almost considering just attempting a manual tape job with the similar black version.
3 rims here, red almost as bright as white, and even the extreme angle on downtube still reflected great.

I haven't used this yet, but think this was referenced above. Good to know the red works.

There are many styles out there that are precision cut, fit well and are easily applied like the ones I installed on my truck over a year ago and they still look Great. (at least to me) These were purchased off e-bay and as I said previously, came in many colors/textures. Good luck to you and finding what you want.

I had some material like that and tried to cut tailgate letters for my truck. Unfortunately it didnt cut cleanly through most of the reflective hexagons and some of them came completely off. Ill take a picture of it tomorrow, its at my shop.

It's an interesting idea, but I wouldn't use it, either. I have some of that on my mailbox and the edges are starting to curl from sun exposure.

I have been wanting to join to tailgate decal group, but I have a particular vinyl I want. unfortunately I do not own a vinyl cutting machine or know anyone who does..

I am wondering if someone on here knows of someone who would be willing to cut the decals for me, I can provide vinyl and a return label for shipping.
Or if they know an Etsy shop where the have more custom options.
I have a black glitter vinyl I want to use instead of matte or glossy options you can usually find.

I got mine through the Ford Accessories on line catalog and paid for them with the points I got when purchasing the truck. They're black, raised letters but could be painted any color option depending on your imagination and skill. I left mine black but added some lighter blue shadowing to match the black package and Grabber decal design on my Lariat.
