Updated with some info:

The 2x6s are 54 5/8 the one closest to the cad should be a 2x4 because I have a 2x6 there now didn’t realize it wouldn’t fit and had to cut it down to basically a 2x4 lol I used poly board for the shelf and it’s 25 1/2 x 54 5/8 and used a curtain rod to keep stuff from falling

Looks good, Do you think Trex would be suitable. It is somewhat flexible , no splinters and does not absorb moisture.

Any chance you could measure the clearance between the bottom of the 2x6 for the shelf and your bed mat?
