I am just writing this post to give everybody a heads up that tariff prices have started and are already kicking in . Unfortunately, everything in Car Audio and copper wire from my factory is made overseas mostly in China. . big companies that have held out the longest like kicker are now also raising prices so if anybody was thinking about purchasing anything now would be the time as whatever inventory I have left is gone. New orders will be subject to the new tariff pricing.

And this is supposed to benefit the economy how? I only mention this because, no matter how anyone looks at it, no matter which side of the political aisle you're on, this does NOT benefit the American buying public in any way, shape, or form. Unnecessary supply disruptions and shortages resulting in increased prices topped with stagnant wages unable to keep up.

It's no wonder more people are holding onto their cars longer. Buying new or used has gotten outrageously expensive. MSRPs, parts, maintenance, insurance, you name it. That's why I intend on keeping my Maverick once the lease is up. By then (which will be in 2027) I'm sure the equivalent Lariat will be $45,000 before destination and taxes factored in. I can't afford that!

It doesn't and was never going to, but no-go-backsies.

I bought mine a couple months ago, and as time goes on, getting an off the lot lariat for just under 39 out the door and on the road, is becoming a better and better deal.

I don’t want this post to be turned into a political thing as a paying sponsor want to keep it business not personal . I just wanted to give everybody a heads up on what’s going on as prices are going up. I received a lot of messages since I joined and had a lot of traffic go to the site. Just wanted everyone that may be interested now is the time to buy as I’m very low on stock and when I re-order pricing will be higher.

In the theme of keeping this personal:

I love to go swimming...

Would it not be wonderful if the water temperature in B.C. was warm enough to do this most of the year. However, dying from hypothermia while doing this "swimming" might not be the worst way to go...:censored: Keep swimming and Strumming!!!

In the long term, one of the planned benefits is moving some manufacturing back to the USA. A short term benefit is having Ford at least think & plan for moving the Hermosillo factory 200 miles north to Arizona. TSMC is already a huge employer here in AZ.

The only manufacturing jobs that are going to be coming to America are jobs for robots. Billionaires and corporations are too greedy to pay a living wage to a human. If an employer can replace your job with a robot, AI, or whatever non-human and still make money, they are going to find a way. Mexican food restaurants already have robots bringing chips and salsa to your table.

It didn't take long to become political. Unfortunately, "tariff" has become a dog whistle for political controversy.
Heck, can't even talk about Maverick's AC.
