Well the wait is over. I initially intended on a 23 XL, but changed and orered a XLT, lux package, Alto blue, with back window on 17 Sept 22. I got no confirmation email from Ford. All I got was monthly updates from my salesman saying no change. Fast forward 6 1/2 months later, I started looking for other options. Found a 23XLT a few days ago with Tremor package, but by the next day before I could get there it was gone. Found this one two days later, a slight upgrade. Lariat, black package, luxury package, and bed extender sunroof , power sliding rear window for 39k +3k in dealer added stuff

Àbout 3k of dealer added stuff, I know it was mostly markup, they said they add it to all their new vehicles.

That build would be $37445 after destination. So, a little markup. I went to that same dealership in March of last year and found an XLT AWD 4K FX4 that was available. At that time, they were wanting a $5000 markup plus their "protection package" which is $1500.

Hey I have grown fond of our trashy cooper brown and blue Lariat interior- I think the black'ish leatherette is too dark but ok

Nice truck, but I see you originally a hybrid guy (under your forum) and now you went ecoboost, was that something you really wanted? or just getting a maverick at all?

That was my initial intentions when I first heard about the Maverick, but it was just taking too long. My daily commute is only 16 miles round trip, so I talked myself into it. Cost me a lot more, but I'm happy with all the comforts of the lariat trim.

Yeah, but I ordered an XLT with options. It's ok, plus the wife said she didn't really like the cloth seats and preferred the leather seats.

That’s what my wife said. She was willing to pay the extra $$ out of her account, for the black appearance package on the 23 Maverick Lariat lux if it got rid of those “god awful”
orange/copper color seats. I took her up on the offer.
