Hey gang. I had a few conversations with my dealer since early on 9/15 about the process to convert my order to a '23 as I got the dreaded "we're sorry about delays..." email from Ford on 8/18.
I have a Hot Pepper Red XLT Hybrid + Lux Package + mats+floor liners on order since 11/1/21.
My dealer reached back out to me late on 9/15 -he was unable to get my change processed due to the order bank crashing. He called me this AM to indicate that they processed my order.
I was puzzled when he told me I'd been converted but that the drop-in liner was still showing. (No LTE Hotspot -$20 credit -only other change)
He then sent me the preview info. Not sure if he missed it but my order preview still shows '22 Model year - I was expecting it to read '23.
I then noticed it's at Priority Code 2 with "Job #2 Order" in the options.
So my Q: Can I assume that Ford has taken ownership of this order and I'm actually going to get a '22 scheduled very soon or did the dealer not convert my order and Priority 2 is now incorrect?
I've received nothing from Ford since the "we are sorry" form email mid Aug.
Are they still scheduling '22s? Or do I need to get the dealer to look at it again - concerned about touching the order at all if it's in this status..
I will be calling the Ford Maverick line tomorrow to ask them but I thought I'd ask the gang here if anyone has an educated opinion on whether I will be getting a '22 fulfilled soon based on my order status as of this morning. (9/19).
