Converted to '23 -but still shows a '22 w Priority 2 & Job#2 on preview?

Hey gang. I had a few conversations with my dealer since early on 9/15 about the process to convert my order to a '23 as I got the dreaded "we're sorry about delays..." email from Ford on 8/18.

I have a Hot Pepper Red XLT Hybrid + Lux Package + mats+floor liners on order since 11/1/21.

My dealer reached back out to me late on 9/15 -he was unable to get my change processed due to the order bank crashing. He called me this AM to indicate that they processed my order.

I was puzzled when he told me I'd been converted but that the drop-in liner was still showing. (No LTE Hotspot -$20 credit -only other change)

He then sent me the preview info. Not sure if he missed it but my order preview still shows '22 Model year - I was expecting it to read '23.

I then noticed it's at Priority Code 2 with "Job #2 Order" in the options.

So my Q: Can I assume that Ford has taken ownership of this order and I'm actually going to get a '22 scheduled very soon or did the dealer not convert my order and Priority 2 is now incorrect?

I've received nothing from Ford since the "we are sorry" form email mid Aug.

Are they still scheduling '22s? Or do I need to get the dealer to look at it again - concerned about touching the order at all if it's in this status..

I will be calling the Ford Maverick line tomorrow to ask them but I thought I'd ask the gang here if anyone has an educated opinion on whether I will be getting a '22 fulfilled soon based on my order status as of this morning. (9/19).

I would call Ford and ask them.

I thought if you were a priority 02 you were being scheduled, but maybe I'm wrong on that.

To my knowledge, All 22 orders that are going to be built have already been scheduled. Many members have reported that their 22 orders are still in priority 1 and 2 but that likely those orders will be deleted by Ford or the Dealerships, in some type of reconciliation process (TBD), when the 23 orders are placed and confirmed.

An update: I did receive an email confirmation from Ford tonight that my '23 was ordered so I assume that at some point -not sure if it was on the dealer end or Ford's that my order was converted.

The email did make reference to mine being an "early order" not sure if that's a clue that it's a converted order or if all of the order confirmations (including net new) are getting the same tag.

I guess I will need to call the Maverick line to see what they can tell me. My dealer rep seemed well versed on the process to convert and keep your place in queue -he'd done that with numerous Bronco orders.

Unfortunately, he didn't seem very knowledgeable on the package changes and must not have noticed my order still showing as a '22 when he commented that it was still showing the drop-in bedliner on the new "23 order. I doubt that's the case unless the dealer converted and added the options now missing from the Lux package.

This would be so much simpler if Ford would show us our orders in their system as they sit...

Update 2: OK- so now it all makes sense and I am so elated, excited and delighted!

Seems my original order 11/2/21 has been scheduled for Production week of 11/7/22. Crazy that it's finally going to be built a year after order entry. I got my VIN and am tracking.

A 2nd order was placed for a '23 under the original order number.

Called the Maverick support line and spoke w Tyrell. Super nice guy. He initially told me he saw a "new" order for a '23 and that it was not a converted order. Asked about private offers and he said I should have already received one if my order needed to be converted but he didn't see anything under my order info.

He then dug a little deeper and said - "oh -I see the original order and it's been scheduled and I have a VIN for you".

The dealer also confirmed that indeed, my initial order is now scheduled and they'd placed another order for the '23.

I could not understand why I had not received a "production scheduled" email update directly from Ford but I guess, according to Tyrell, my email address was not added to the order and I was not "opt-in" for communication. He changed it so hopefully any additional updates from Ford flow to me.

All mysteries solved and yeah! Glad to know I'm getting built soon (hopefully - fingers crossed)...
