So, I have my MY24 Lariat hybrid order number (converted from a MY23 order) and received my VIN. Supposedly, I production is to start January 8th. I recall an email from Ford saying something about a bonus or something for being so patient, but I've never received a "private offer" like I keep reading about. I see posts about the hybrid now being a $1500 option, but don't know if that's for all orders or just new ones. In short I don't have a clue what I'm going to be asked to pay for the vehicle when it eventually arrives at the dealership. Can anyone give me any insight on this matter?

You should be eligible for a $2500 private offer from Ford, to help offset any price increases. This all hinges on whether or not your Dealer correctly entered the new order for '24.

So true, I am dealing with this right now. No one has any idea how to get it corrected! So hopefully your dealer did it correctly and you can get your private offer.

They don't work on January the 8th, cause that's Elvis's birthday.

I chatted with Ford. I do have a private offer of "up to $2500". However, it expired 01/02/2024. My order is not scheduled to start production until 01/08/2024. I was given the program and certificate number, then instructed to provide this information to my dealer and ask how it may applied. I'm hoping there is a positive outcome, but I am concerned. Interest rates have more than doubled since I placed my order. More and more I'm beginning to think I made a poor decision in ordering the Maverick.

I'll post back what I hear from my dealer.

The expiration date will be extended. There are people with private offers from 2022 and they're still valid.

Being a Hybrid, your dealer would probably appreciate it if you walked away, so they could sell it for $$$$ more,,,,,,,

Yep, dealer doesn't care if you cancel a hybrid order as they still sell above MSRP in most places. Be aware that under Program #32168, "23-->24 transition", the $2500 private offer money goes from FoMoCo to the dealer.

The private offer shows up on the dealer's system, "Smart Vincent". Once it shows, ask the dealer by email so you have it in writing, to give you an estimate of your out-the-door price by itemizing each cost/charge - cost of the vehicle, all the junk fees they throw in - doc prep fee, state license fee, sales tax, tire disposal fee, and of course your [hopefully] $2500 private offer discount. That way you will have it in writing.

The dealer can give you as much or as little as they want. They are not obligated to give you the entire amount, or anything and FoMoCo can't help you. On a sale, your relationship is with the dealer, not FoMoCo.

Line up financing ahead of time, try credit unions etc. . The lowest rates usually are when you have your truck payment autopay by ACH = electronic fund transfer, from your bank account to your loan payment.

Follow-up:

My dealership got back to me.

• Looking up the Private Offer, they show it good through 4/2/24 for a value of $2,500.
• The MSRP of the Maverick I have on order is now $37,725.
• They have a $565 documentation and processing fee on all of their transactions.
• I made a $500 deposit when my order was placed.
• They wrote, with my rebate and deposit, that my out the door price will be $35,290.
• My original MSRP was $34,990, so the total increase is minor.

Production still shows as starting January 8th. Hopefully I'll get it in February.

For our 24 Lariat Hybrid order we received 3000 off MSRP. 2500 Ford Private offer, as the order was a 23 rollover. 500 Farm Bureau discount.

When I had questions about my order, I would e-mail my salesman, and after few hours, he would e-mail me back with an answer.

If no response, I would call him and speak with him.

It worked every time.

I see a lot of threads where people come here for answers - I'm not convinced that is best most productive way to get things done.

Have you considered that maybe people's situations with their dealer are different than your own?

Thanks. Can you tell me more about how to go about getting the Farm Bureau discount?

That's just silly talk. Every salesperson in the country is as attentive as Taxman100's.
