Compass problems

The compass in my lariat isn’t displaying the correct direction. Just started happening in the last few days. For a while it was stuck at north. Then it started switching directions as the truck moved, but not the right ones. Now it’s stuck back on north.
I’ve done a reboot on the infotainment system, as well as going in circles to try to calibrate it with no luck.
Anyone else run across this and found a solution?

Haven't ever noticed anything mentioned here for the compass. That may end up being a dealer visit. Good Luck with a quick resolution

How do you get the compass to display in the lariat with Sync 3?

No idea where the compass module is, but any chance you have something in the cabin magnetic? Possibly skewing the compass?

No, nothing that would interfere. Need to go in for the battery cable recall. I’ll add that to the list for them to look at when I go in.

Maybe it's because you're inverted???

As far as I know compass location is provided by the GPS module.
Similar issue reported in the Sport forum required a new module in one case and software update in another.

Oh, then disregard my post. I thought it may have had a magnetic module, like this one (even though it claims to have magnetic field distortion compensation):
