My truck is in production a week early, got my window sticker and FINALLY saw my first Mav in the wild this week. Hot pepper red hybrid with Oregon plates. It's not a LITTLE truck but I think it'll be perfect for us. Definately looking forward to taking delivery.

No word yet. I can't figure out the tracking from train to truck and my salesman has been away for the past week. It should be on a truck by now?

Ordered mine through Schomp Ford in Aurora. No deposit.
Hey, I ordered thru Schomp Ford Aurora and they gladly took my $1000 "REQUIRED" deposit.
I ordered a Lariat hybrid on Nov. 2nd, received confirmation from Ford on Nov 9th, then after complete silence I got the blanket email from Ford saying I am still in line last Friday.
I am not in hurry to get mine, last hurrah purchase.
You must have a buddy at Schomp. ;)😒☹

I ordered mine thru Ford on-line in June, that order was then allocated to Schomp with no required deposit. Of course now they claim my truck was not received even though Ford says it has been built, shipped and delivered to the dealer. Maybe I should see if $1000 will help them find my truck  .
I have heard many good things about Schomp but if they do not find my truck soon, I may need to make more noise to get them to try harder

Ordered from Phil Long in Colorado springs. Late October, Lariat Lux Hybrid. We'll see what happens but I'm already looking at other vehicles since it seems like I won't be getting it until 2023 :(.

I am going through Groove Ford. They called the other day just to remind me that they have my order and I asked about extra fees to expect. They said there would be a dealership paperwork fee (like $599), taxes and maybe some locking lug nuts. I know they are going to try and do an extended warranty as well. My parents got their Bronco from them and they are happy with the experience so I hope to have a good experience as well. I go into any car buying experience ready to advocate for myself.
Well, it's an old post... But just now landed on my screen. In any event: The $599 is basically a $600 rip-off ADM out of your pocket [above MSRP]. Locally [Tampa area] the Ford sales team [all of them] would agree to order a Maverick for MSRP. However if questioned about additional costs they all had an ADM of up to more than twice the $599 you mention. I called BS and walk out; what you do is up to you. I'll go a long ways to keep from supporting such a rip-off; YMMV...

My truck finally got to the dealer, just in time for a spring snowstorm. I plan to wait until Friday to pick it up.

I spoke too soon, the drama continues, my truck is lost. Ford says it has been delievered to the dealer BUT the dealer does not have it and does not know where it is. It sounds like they are as frustrated as I am. I do not blame the dealer, Ford needs to figure out how to track the production and delivery of their trucks.
update - 3/21 Still lost, a lot of finger pointing
Update 2 (3/22): Still no answers, just finger pointing. The dealer is not getting any answers from the shipping company and Ford still shows it was delivered to the dealer on 3/16. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I can do to push this up the food chain with Ford? I have opened a case with customer service but they do not seem to be taking responsability for getting answers from the shipper on why it was shown as delivered to the dealer but they never got it. Of course if the dealer does have it Ford should also be interested in why they are claiming it was never delivered. It has been a week even if I can't get my truck someone must know where it is.
Do you trust your dealer? If they can get you to give up they can probably sell it for several thousand dollars above MSRP...

Yes, that has occured to me. I waited 8 months from the time I odered it in June until it was built in Feb. If they think I am going to walk away now they are mistaken. I case they try to claim I gave up I have opened a Case with Ford to document I am waiting for the Dealership.

I'd go down to the dealer and ask to speak to GM. Let them know you already advised Ford, and that they need to get their region Ford Rep involved. 😉
"If" they're trying to rob you of your truck, best thing you can do is keep being vocal directly to GM, and Ford, and keep drawing attention to your situation.

Let us review. The pre-order game had some squishy parameters. First, order from the highest volume Ford dealer in your state; second, order the most revenue producing truck; third, order from the far Western or far Eastern states or Michigan. So, I had control over #1, but no control over #2 or #3. The dealer I chose turns a big profit with Broncos and Mustangs. Therefore, my piddly order does not produce much money for this dealer. I have an MBA and this business approach, even if I feel that I might be getting screwed, is what businesses do. Business is not fair to consumers, because it has to be loyal to stockholders. Basic: stockholders do not give a rat's butt about you or your feelings.

Ordered mine (2.0 EB AWD) In July 2021. Built in October, received Dec 22nd. Loving it! No problems through the snow we've been having! Took it up to 11mile recently, got 33mpg on the trip. Question, what are your guys' thoughts on running 85 octane?
