change color after receiving VIN

Does one then lose their place in line for build and go to end of the line If changing colors and it is accepted by Ford?

I ordered Area 51 though now worried it will show fingerprints and dirt more then the say carbonized gray. Honestly, don’t know what color of the 2023 line would show the least amount of dirt. Don’t like white nor black I know. Also wondering if I should get the sunroof added if such is still possible with vin# already assigned.

Cannot recall in one of your recent videos if this quesiotn was asked/answered..

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I realize you get a zillion plus questions no doubt. Oddly enough I randomly checked a prior email just a bit ago and now it says my truck is in production so I will live with the color I got and no sunroof and be OK with that. I had just seen a facebook post about incentives for prior orders (saying that wrong) so guess next step is for me to call my dealer to ask about that point.

Thinking they last said the truck has to be produced before that certificate is in a system to be viewed and is linked to ones Home address.

My local dealer had one of the last 2023's scheduled and available to buy, but not in the color we wanted. They thought the color wasn't changeable but I found this thread and convinced them to try anyway. It's been changed and should be an early Christmas present!
