Chrome Grille or Package Coming?

Any idea on whether Ford will introduce a Chrome Appearance Package (Grille, bumper(s), door handles) for the Maverick?

I'd also love to see something like the kind of special edition Buick, Oldsmobile, and Chrysler used to offer, and Ford used to on their Thunderbird--a chrome grille, retro two-tone seats, retro two-tone paint, retro-inspired wheel covers, and special badging, for about $495-$1495.

I can appreciate the look of Chromed steel bumpers and handles, but the plastic stuff doesn't hold up well and ages / fails way too soon. Wouldn't want to pay for a package that is going to bubble, blister, and peel after a few years. Only way to fix it is to replace the plastic brightwork.

The chromed full steel bumpers are not going to make a comeback with cafe standards, most vehicles have body colored plastic bumper covers because they are lighter (increase mpg), cheaper to produce and ship (increase profit margins) and hide the unsightly bumpers that are the bare minimum to function as a bumper.

The King Ranch model next year will have tu-tone, chrome, and saddle leather.
