After Installing the Cheap DIY Daytime Running Lights $14.00 Pretty Impressive for The Price I started to look into a lighted emblem - mission accomplished. Easier than some instructions Ive seen but a bit more than I though at first. How did it turn out ? -

Curious, would I be able to take the grill entirely off using your method?

I need to get it off to install my adaptive cruise control.

I 3D printed a spacer to give the emblem more real estate to stick to.

When you have the bumper off, access the wire going to the passenger side side yellow light. That is what you will want to power it off of (not the one in the headlight).

Sadly, the emblem on eBay is no longer available. He sold out of the white and blue one and they had red but it's no longer available. I wonder if Ford found out and shut him down? Shame as I really want this mod for my truck but not for the $250 that Ford is charging.

Now you just need to angle down the LED strip like discussed in your other thread, HUGE difference!
