Ordered on The Day back in September, still waiting on my build date. When I was down at the dealership trying to get everything ordered, and without the ability to compare different options and things because the build tool for 2023s wasn't live yet on the website, I ended up ordering a basically completely loaded Lariat Tremor.
In retrospect, I don't really need that. I don't care about more speakers and a push-button start, certainly not for about a $5k markup. I can't really think of any other reason why I want the Lariat. XLT + luxury package and CoPilot 360 is more than I need. I am wondering if I can reach out to my dealer and change my order. It would be great if there's something in the Lariat that is holding up my order that I wouldn't have to wait on for the XLT, but I also am worried that if I request to change it will put me into the back of the line? Are there any other options or add-ons that are known to be particularly constrained at the moment?
EDIT: Saw this thread, so it doesn't look like changing from Lariat to XLT would make a difference, the tow hitch looks to be the biggest issue still. Hell I'd take the truck now and bring it back into add a tow hitch later if that was an option.
