Changing Color on Current Order

I am an A-Plan buyer and placed my order with Five Star Ford in Dallas on October 18th for an XLT Hybrid, Luxury Package, & Ford 360. I am interested in changing my color only from Iconic Silver to Area 51. My question...Will this cause my order to be delayed or pushed back if I do so? I'd love to get an answer from a Ford Rep or someone who really knows for sure! Thanks very much!

It might also change your pricing level date to the post-12/27 increase.

My understanding is you can change paint colors and other minor changes now as long as your order is currently UNSCHEDULED. Your updated order will show the increased pricing but you are still price protected by Ford since your order was before the price increase, you may want to verify that with your dealer. It's been discussed numerous times and covered by Tim (fordvideoguy) the dealer in Salina, KS, you can check his videos

My guess is changing the color shouldn't be an issue it's when you make changes in trim levels XL to XLT and Lariat. And as long as you're not scheduled for production it should be doable
