Changing driving mode?

MyMav makes a device that sets mine to eco every time I start it, been working great for three years now. Simple to install and was about $50. Also put it on a second Maverick

The same device can be bought on Amazon for much less. Just have to wire it and program it accordingly. I don't believe it will work on the MY25, or it has not been figured out yet due to the steering wheel controls.

Is there a simple way to switch modes without playing menu games from the steering wheel?

Menu games? I simply press mode left or mode right to the mode I want. Thats it...
I know eco is to the left and sport is to the right.

Maybe your question isnt clear enough to me, and you want the mode you select to not change even after powering down and exiting? But, im not sure how much easier it could get.

So it doesn’t have the button on the center console on the 25s to change modes? If not that’s very inconvenient and a huge whiff to have to do that on the menu. Probably can be a little dangerous to fiddling with it while driving.

Its a left and right arrow on your steering wheel... What the hell are you talking about? I would assume that is easier and more safe to navigate than having to reach/look down and press buttons on the center console...

Already been resolved, and OP figured it out. I personally find it helpful to read most/all of the posts in a thread before piling on.

yep, someone else pointed this out. My confusion was that the mode button on the wheel of my F350 switches the audio source on the entertainment system, so I never fooled with it on the Mav.
