Changing build question

I recently changed my build by removing a few options to hopefully lessen the chance of truck being delayed due to constraints. I signed an updated build sheet from my dealer. For people who changed their order, do you get any e-mail update confirmation from Ford similar to the one you receive when your order is first put in the system? I doubt it since communication from them seems to be lacking but just wanted to make sure.

I made a color change and my dealer sent me an updated order sheet but I did not receive a new confirmation email from ford. I think that's just upon first getting into system.

In late June I ordered a FWD Mav with the tow package then in mid August Ford said "Oops our bad you can't order that" so I had to switch to AWD to keep the tow package.

I received a second email confirmation from Ford just like the first one I received in June. The order number on my DORA did NOT change and the order number from June is on my window sticker.

So I think it just depends on what is changed.

I made a color change earlier on in the process and no new confirmation email from Ford.

I made two changes. The dealer provided an updated spec sheet. Nothing from Ford.
