It's still too early to tell for sure, but.....
Recently had the hybrid recall for engine fumes fire risk completed and I have the perception of my MPG dropping about 3 mpg.
This is on my first tank, and after a road trip that had me loaded more than normal, on the interstates more that normal, and climbing bigger hills than normal.

Before the trip after 5 months of 90% daily commute seeing 50.9 mpg I am at 47 mpg, and does not look like I can build it back up. I keep seeing 47.0 - 47.1 - 47.0, and it just seems like it does not stay in electric mode as long on my standard commute.

Still way above the EPA rating so can't complain, just wondering if anyone else has seen something similar.

EDIT Update. Another tank of fuel, (2md full tank since return) and my mileage has started to climb. It must be more data points over more miles just averaging out, or me relearning right foot pressure after extended rat race driving, or the vehicle relearning driving habits after a power down? But looks like more perception than reality.

I'm seeing about 4 mpg better since I crossed 5k miles and temperature is not often above 101°.

Mpg should be averaged by 3 full tanks if gas. Done with a calculator not the erroneous computer in the veh. this method is accurate.
That trip would have dropped your average.
Did you reset the mpg average to zero after your trip? If not, do that and see what the box is telling you after a few hundred miles.

Mine had improved a little since the recall.

Hybrid lux with tonneau. Used first tank from dealer didn’t care what dash said. Did first fill up with reg 87, used that and my first verifiable milage was 40.5. Got recall done during 2nd fill up so didn’t count that. Finished 3rd fill up and milage now 37.5. All driving is 90% city with light throttle. I can’t verify if recall made the difference but will monitor. Overall I’m disappointed since everything I’m reading here is way higher. Also don’t get near the electric only range that I see posted here.

Give it time to break in. My mileage kept improving right up to my trip. I was driving the same route to and from work, and going light on the throttle. Funny and maybe of nothing more than a coincidence, but 3 MPG was what I was seeing. The fuel economy, no matter how you measure it, manually, or trip computer should stay consistent with driving conditions. These are very sensitive to variables. Air temp, tire pressure, any extra loading such as weight, hills, throttle.
I actually felt like I am seeing a change in the amount of time the computer is indicating as "Electric driving" than what I was seeing over the same route before.
Could be after all those highway miles at 70 + MPH and I have forgotten how to optimize my foot. While I am not a hypermiler I do try to be a little gentle on the throttle. I'll keep monitoring it over more time on my daily drive.

Yes the computer definitely leans on the high side, Even doing my MPG manually I'm still getting 49.5 all around MPG couldn't be Happier 😁

This is true for all makes and models that I have experienced so far. I am not looking for the accuracy, I am talking about apples to apples. If I used the trucks computer before the road trip, I need to use it again now, over the same course.

Ok this is weird. Latest mileage shows 35.1 mpg after easy all city driving and 3/4 through tank. Went on 40 mile all highway trip and it increased to 36.5. City mpg should be better and it was for me before recall…just saying

With daily high temperatures dropping my hybrid gas mileage has started to rise back into mid 40s. Was getting worried as it was dropping to the upper 30s last few summer months.
Edit: got 49 mpg last two short drive through food trips.
