Cavity behind drivers side rear wheel

Hello,
I saw a post about this issue so I took it upon myself to fix it. I bought a flat piece of stainless steel and cut it to fit. Its not perfect but I'm pretty OCD and I'm happy with it. No more mud,rocks,snow,ice and cut down on the amount of water also. I undercoated for more protection. Before it was just an open cavity going up to the brake Light and all the wiring so hope this helps. If your not aware of this take your driver's side Taillight out and you can see through to the ground.

Good job! The fact ford left it like this to cut costs make me wonder what else they did to save money .I keep my vehicles a long time,hope to get 15- 20 years out of my maverick.

Would you be willing to help make a template? If you could fill out some dimensions. I can make a printable template so it could be cut out of a flat piece of metal.
