Ive used em before, not in a Maverick. Make sure they are straight and dont crank em too much. I do prefer the types that have a E-track down the side and the bar just clips into instead of using pressure. But they will work if you set em up right.Speaking of cargo bars, I just got some locking bars for the bed. Ratchet from 40"-70" wide. Anyone try one of these in a Maverick to secure boxes?
I have E track and beam sockets in the store too, but they don't have the short ratchet cargo bars for E track.
There is a collapseable slide to width style out there i used to use. A pipe in a pipe would work in a etrack setup with the fittings welded on each end. As long as it isnt over extended it stays solid. The ones I uses were rectangle with bushings in em.
No reason these can't be used on the track rails themselves for extra support, or trim one rib off each side to fit inside an E track lumber bracket.
