CarABC adapter slow start

I installed the carABC adapter per instructions. Reading instructions, it said to go to a specific website to update the device (192.168.1.101) Now, the language at the website is Chinese The connectivity between the phone and the adapter was much faster before I went to the website to update. I have no idea how to have the information on the update website back in English. There is no explanation for the different settings identified on the website. For those of you that have used this device and updated it, any input would be appreciated.
