sprinkled yesterday morning and we took the Mav out for lunch. Wasn’t horribly dirty but want to stay ahead of it before I coat it. Took 21 minutes start to finish* and I’m old and slow.

*did not do wheels today.

Most touchless ones do!

They work in a pinch. And some do a pretty damn good job if your car doesn't get too dirty. Of course, some "mirror shine" or ceramic shine finish will make it work much better.

I keep reading about people being paranoid about the stock antenna in car washes. What's this based on? I'm not seeing anything in the manual about this.

On a slightly related note, does anyone know if there's concerns about a high-pressure underbody wash on the hybrid models, due to the placement of the HV battery? I don't have my vehicle, but was just curious. Thanks.

Does anyone take their truck through the car wash? Is the antennae ok,,?

Have had a focus, now have a fusion energi and escape; both have the same antenna. I work at a dealership that has an on site car wash. just unscrew the antenna before and put it back after, no problem. if you have ceramic-graphene (turtle)wax it won't make much difference if touch or not.

Ok, I did get the stubby antenna so now I might be brave to go to the car wash.
Now I have another question, I bought some vinyl letters for the tailgate. Do I peel and stick or use the soap solution and put them on wet?
