Lane centering is usually only available when Adaptive Cruise Control is turned on. But, I got into my 2024 Lariat and somehow the alarm started sounding and emergency blinkers turned on. A little embarrassing to say the least, but then I noticed lane centering was turned on (dash light illuminated). Tried turning it off using the steering wheel button; the light would turn off (visible but no longer green), but lane centering was still active. Turned vehicle on and off several times, but lane centering is still enabled. When I turn on Adaptive Cruise Control, lane centering works normally, but I just can't disable/turn it off .
I can ignore the little dash icon easily enough, but the lane indicators remain on the small display, which pushes the current MPH indicator to the lower right of the display and in smaller font.
Got any ideas, short of powering the whole truck down?
