Can someone please help decipher these internal Ford codes??

I took this photo from my dealer's computer screen when he pulled up my order.

So I took this photo because I knew the people on this message board could offer way more insight than he was capable of.

10/31/21 order - Cactus Grey Hybrid XL with Tow Hitch, Rear-Seat Plug.

9/2022 rollover for MY23 (no VIN ever assigned)

Priority 12 "unscheduled clean" is the current status I am told....

Any help deciphering would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I can’t speak to the screenshots, but I noticed you are ordering a Hybrid w/standalone hitch. Those are both the kids of a long wait. The trailer hitch is extremely constrained outside of Lux Packages.

Yours is a rollover order so if it was properly entered and documented, you have a better chance than most see it built……………eventually.

Pulling these out of my ass. But if I had to hazard a guess based on context:

• G9 = Your truck isn't being looked at because your dealership isn't allowed to have a truck scheduled this week (aka allocations).
  • Honestly, this one is a full stop. The rest doesn't matter.
• G26 = You are wanting items that require specific handling at the plant.
• G15 = Aforementioned items are not available anyway for scheduling.
• G22 = Dunno.
• G14 = The build you are wanting, hybrid, is in conflict with the plant's operating plan (aka 35% constraint for Hybrid).
• G16 = The plant is all out of spots that match what you want.

Again, I made these up by reading the context of what was listed added to what I have learned about the process over the last six months. Our resident dealership gurus could either or both confirm I'm completely wrong or I'm not far off.

All that to say, "Not selected for preview" generally means you are not being scheduled this week. However, we have seen cases recently where vehicles not being previewed had been scheduled anyway. But as the first one specifically lists allocations, don't hold your breath.

That said, take all of this with a shaker of salt.

The only thing I can see is that expected parts will be week 14 of 2023. Unless anything changes going forward it is a clean build and that is all you can ask for.

I think this is probably about right, however, but since the first couple weeks of the calendar year production are usually filling out the previous calendar year allocations, I would suggest perhaps adding a few weeks so possibly end of April first of May.

Also, unless they had tons of order "rollovers", why does your dealership still have you at Priority Code 12 if you ordered in 10/21? Keep in mind though, if it is a small dealership like mine, if they only have a few and know they will not receive tons of allocations, they may have someone at a 10, someone at 11, and you at 12. I was not a rollover per se but I was on his list in late Jan or early Feb 22 just after ordering stopped. He put his one rollover at 10 and since I was next, I was at an 11.

Like the great commadorebab, I may be close or entirely way off base but I wish you the best of luck but I agree with comments above, as a XL with standalone hitch and being a hybrid, it could be a while.

I never know what the "codes" actually mean..... but you basically have it. Dealer has no free allocation that week. Hybrids and hitch are in very short supply.
