Been trying for 2 different dynos , 2 different shops ,2 different days to get a clean pull .
So far truck with traction control off or on will pull power when loaded , tried sand and mud modes too , no luck .
Locked or linked dyno mode .
Was going to pull abs fuse but truck still pulls power out when loaded .
Foot to the floor . No downshift and rpms fall to point of idle.
Now I know holding fourth or fifth gear may be a problem too , but cant even get to that point .
With traction control off , stability control still on.with f150 you can hold down traction control button for 5 seconds and get it to then turn advance track off , but no luck on the maverick !
Bummer was trying to get downpipe ,catback and with and without performance tune numbers , but it just seems impossible .
Any other performance guys out there run an awd on the dyno successfully?
I wonder how the truck can know it is on a dyno. It works on the street, what is the difference?

Some how the front and rear dyno wheels are not a fully locked set of 4 wheels and it detects that little bit of slip as loss of traction and enables advance trac.
The dyno even in front /rear locked mode still has a little fluid difference in order to read the applied power difference from the spinning inertia of the wheels .
So we need a way to lock out advance trac in order it not to go to a default “ normal “ mode in a sort of limp mode .
I’ve gotten this twice in the dunes in sand mode too while crossing over dune tops and either both left side or both right side suddenly catch air while other 2 are in sand.
It goes into a kind of limp mode of “normal” takes the sand mode off and doesnt allow any changing of drive modes with the Tremor button ( mode change button) constantly reads “drive mode not available at this time” or “ drive mode selection unavailable” something like that . Too busy sriving across dune tops at 20-30mph to snap a pic of it .
Stop on more solid ground , turn truck on and off and reset drive modes with in a few minutes and it starts working again.
Hard to say , wish i could of taken the ford powertrain engineer that was at vegas to reno race working on the bronco r race trucks for a ride and gather some info !
We are kind of on our own trying to figure out the low buget truck ism’s it looks like!

I tried to dyno my car in awd and it was a headache. Even loaded the 4th gear locked map on the cobb. It kept shutting down the awd system. I think the pto was overheating and shutting itself down to prevent damage. Ended up just disconnecting the wire on the rear diff. Dash was lit like a xmas tree but was able to get full pulls without issues or going into limp mode.

Is this a standard awd or tremor ?
so would that be an advance trac sensor ? On the diff , because mine has the electric locker/ clutch for adjustable slip modes ( focus rs ) haven’t looked to see if more than 1 plug or not.
